Hey Rebecca, I've seen you around town on your extracylce, pretty cool. Did you graduate from whitman or have years to go? anyways, this is a fabulous site, thanks for doing it. i just got back from Portland over the weekend where it felt like I travelled everywhere in a pack or bikes, felt totally primal, especially at night, all lit up and blinking red.
peace!

Hey there,
I graduated from Whitman in 2007 (art major, actually). I'm glad you enjoy the site- I try to make it helpful, interesting and informative. I hope it does some of those things for you! I do welcome feedback if there's something in particular you're curious about. Sometimes I get off topic. :)
Portland certainly is a great example of a city getting behind its cyclists! I'm hoping to get Walla Walla to do the same.. I'm trying to build a bike culture here that does not demand spandex! (Although you will often find me sporting it).
See you on the streets,
RJ
Hey again, I also wanted you to know that I've got Harrell Fletcher coming to give a lecture and speak to my Senior Seminar class in the fall, sometime in late September. Should be awesome. Will probably screen the Miranda July film too.
Have fun on the Ann Ride this weekend, I'm bummed I can't do it (but not bummed that I will be back in Portland). Addict.
